All About Me
Hi, my name is Stacy! I live with my parents and brother in a house in Homewood, Alabama. My brother's name is Jake and he's my best friend. I am eight years old and I’m in the third grade at an elementary school right around the corner from my house. I have a puppy and his name is Spot. We play outside a lot. He’s very little right now, but he will grow one day. That’s what my parents tell me, too. You see, I am a flat person. I get called Flat Stacy a lot, but I don’t mind. It all happened one day while I was taking a nap on my brother’s futon. It closed shut with me inside of it! When I woke up, I pushed it off of me, but it had already happened. It squished me like a pancake!
Apparently, there is no immediate cure for flatness. My parents keep telling me that one day I’ll get back to normal. However, I’ve learned to love my flat figure, and I don’t know what I’d do if I were any other way. I slide under doors and through cracks with ease. I think my brother sometimes get jealous of all my adventures. I can even get in an envelope and be mailed places! Once, I got to go all the way to Florida to see the beach. I hope to go many more places. I am a very active flat person. I love to swim, ride my bike, climb trees, and dance! I am a cheerleader at my school. Of course, I'm the one they put up in the air because I'm so tiny. There’s so much I can’t wait to do! I better hurry and get busy, because I might not be flat forever!
